Kolibio Terms of Use

By using Kolibio you agree to these terms.
Purpose: Kolibio is a tool that helps restaurant operators manage inventory, documents, costs, orders, dish margins, and employee pay estimates, as a reference for your own business decisions.
Your responsibility (data accuracy): You are responsible for the truth and accuracy of the data you enter. Cost, margin, restock, and pay figures are supporting estimates and do not constitute financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.
AI recognition accuracy: AI/OCR results may contain errors (missed lines, wrong numbers, misreads). Results are drafts that require your review and confirmation before being recorded; you bear responsibility for discrepancies caused by unreviewed results. Enabling AI recognition means you understand and agree that images are sent to a third party (OpenAI) for processing.
Pay-estimate disclaimer: The payroll feature is an internal estimation tool, not a compliant payroll system: it does not calculate or withhold taxes, does not disburse wages, and does not guarantee compliance with any labor law (including overtime, minimum wage, or holiday rules). Consult a professional for statutory payroll compliance.
Data & backups: Data is stored on your device only; please maintain your own device backups. We are not liable for, and hold no copy to recover from, loss caused by device changes, uninstalling, system failure, or actions such as "Clear Local Data".
Subscriptions & credits (reserved; effective once real billing launches):
a. Paid plans are App Store subscriptions that auto-renew each period; cancel anytime in system subscription settings; cancellation before the period ends stops future charges. Refunds follow Apple's policies.
b. A credit is the metering unit for document recognition: 1 credit covers one successful recognition of a document of up to 5 pages; failures are not charged; period-granted credits expire with the period, purchased packs carry over per their rules.
c. Promotional/redeemed and ad-reward credits are not redeemable for cash and not transferable; we may revoke benefits obtained through abuse (code farming, forged callbacks, etc.).
d. Plan prices and store/brand limits are as shown on the purchase page; downgrading or cancelling does not delete your on-device data.
Lawful use: You must comply with the laws of your region regarding business operations, employment, pay, taxes, and employee personal information (including notice of location-verified punch-in); you bear responsibility for your operating and employment decisions.
Intellectual property: Kolibio and its interface, icons, and copy belong to {{COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME}} and may not be copied, decompiled, or used commercially without permission. Third-party open-source components (e.g., SheetJS, Apache 2.0) are used under their licenses, distributed with the app.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability: The app is provided "as is", with no warranty of being defect-free, uninterrupted, or fully accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption) arising from use of or inability to use the app; our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you actually paid for the app in the past 12 months (zero if none). Where such limits are not allowed, they apply to the maximum extent permitted.
Changes & termination: We may update features and terms; material changes will be noted in the app, and continued use means acceptance. You may stop using and delete the app at any time. We may terminate service for material breach of these terms.
Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of {{GOVERNING_LAW}}, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
